I had thought hard about what I should do with my home-grown large courgette. It’s been sometime since I had homemade soup. So, courgette soup it was. It’s really simple. Easy Peasy “Dim Sum” Dinner

I didn’t feel like standing in the kitchen to cook today. It’s too warm! So, I thought – then something easy and store bought could do for this evening. Homegrown Tomatoes and Courgette

We’ve had some pretty nice, warm and sunny summer days this year. Our tomatoes and courgettes are growing and producing a good crop of vegetables. We’re quite pleased and have been enjoying our own homegrown tomatoes and courgettes a lot.  🙂 Here’s a photo of our recent crop. Steamed Meat with Silken Tofu, Egg & Chilli Preserved Radish

SI make some kind of steamed minced meat with chilli preserved radish regularly. It is a favourite of mine – simple to make, delicious and healthy as far as I am concerned. This time, I made a variation with an addition of silken tofu and egg. Marinate for 10 mins 150g minced meat with:   1 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, ½ tsp maggi sauce, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp Hsio Tsing wine, some pepper and 1 tbsp corn flour.
