SI make some kind of steamed minced meat with chilli preserved radish regularly. It is a favourite of mine – simple to make, delicious and healthy as far as I am concerned.
This time, I made a variation with an addition of silken tofu and egg.
Marinate for 10 mins 150g minced meat with: 1 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, ½ tsp maggi sauce, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp Hsio Tsing wine, some pepper and 1 tbsp corn flour.
At the same time, soak some chilli preserved radish in water. Otherwise, it might be too salty.
Mix 1 egg and the preserved radish in the meat marinade, then mix in 1 pack Silken Tofu (leave tofu in big chunks) and add in water till it covers the top of meat mix.
Steam for 15-20 mins until cooked.
Eaten with white rice, tomatoes from our garden and some sambal hae-bee.
