We’ve had some pretty nice, warm and sunny summer days this year. Our tomatoes and courgettes are growing and producing a good crop of vegetables. We’re quite pleased and have been enjoying our own homegrown tomatoes and courgettes a lot. 🙂 Here’s a photo of our recent crop. SI make some kind of steamed minced meat with chilli preserved radish regularly. It is a favourite of mine – simple to make, delicious and healthy as far as I am concerned. This time, I made a variation with an addition of silken tofu and egg. I found this at the large Chinese shop, The Oriental Toko Amsterdam, about 6 months ago and I’m addicted to it. It’s flaked dried porridge (pork flavoured) with bits of dried veg, good enough for 1 person. I had it for breakfast today. Just add 400ml hot water and stir well or till the lumps are gone. I added some German-style cubed lunchmeat which gave it some additional flavour.
